I have a belly button problem. There is always this white or black stuff inside of there and I don't know why. It has a stench to it too.

What is this and why is it happening? Does anyone else have this problem?

I want to make it go away. I use alchohol to clean it out every month or so. Please help if you know what I'm talking about.

For those of you who will ask me if I have a belly button ring, no I do not.

Instead of cleaning it out every month try everyday. And the next time you shower wash it out with soap and rinse. hope that helped.

Erm...I really know nothing about this. Maybe just wash it with soap when you shower?

I try everyday. Haha, for awhile and then I stop. I'm not a very consistent person.

I also do wash it out with soap and it doesn't really help.

i used to have that problem too! but i used some cotton stick or somthing to clean it when i was bathing

it isn't a problem. I think everyone has it(I do, except w/o the black stuff)

oh after u get out of the shower just dry inside the belly button w/ tissue...the black stuff is prolly the result of residue water being left inside the belly button

spray water in your belly in the bathtub.

You shouldn't have that problem if you clean your belly button regularly... try cleaning it when you take a shower... it isn't that hard o.O

my sister use to have stuff like that kinda but we never figured out what it was..she jus cleans it everyday

I have .. brown shtuff inside of my belly button.
It doesn't have a stench though; maybe it came from my umbilical cord when I was younger.
