it's pretty good for a first try. a border would add some to it. doesn't really matter though since it doesn't affect the content of the blend. however, you need to work on blending the areas where the color starts and stops. it probably would have looked better if the image inbetween the blue ones was color as well, and if you selectively touched parts of the greyscale w. the blue color. adds some contrast. i'm not sure what that fan thing is doing in there, but personally, i don't think it's the best image to use for this.

i'm getting bored. so i might edit this w. more suggestions.
