aww i wanted to see it! it looked so good on the previews. i mainly wnated to see it because aragon from lord of the rings is the main character...but idk if i'll see it now.

eh, incredibly violent.

you hit all points of the movie. it seemed very cliche to me.
killed ed harris and his guys in a very unecessary violent way, then went to his brothers house and killed him and all his men, in a really violent way. then he goes home and eats dinner =/

I was gonna see it, but I changed my mind and saw Into The Blue cuz it looked so much better than A History of Violence

hmm, that violent huh? Well I wasn't really going to see it in the first place, although the previews intrigued me. But thanks for the review, i probably won't be seeing it now, especially if it had alot of violence.

I saw it on DVD like a month ago for the first time.
It was okay.

I read the graphic novel and thought it was okay. I mean, some of the plot was kind of cliched but it was still good. I think I'd see it just for Tom's (Joey's) extraordinarily maimed friend, just to see if it comes across as gruesome onscreen as it did in the novel.

omg. i watched it today and it was the most f**ked up thing i have ever seen. but i liked it, i think! it's just soooo weird. he just shoots all those bitches and comes home! i hated the ending! i couldn't believe it. i think i have to watch it again to see if i liked it.

the funniest part:
joey's brother: how do you like having a farm? milking cows and shit?
joey: i don't have a farm.

lol..idk..just made me giggle..it's so weird. he kills his brother. it jsut shows his normal family and then it gets crazy! adsajfksa tom stall could be anybody! it really was not that crappy. it was good. it was a good movie but jsut strange. it wasn't boring or anything.
