"(off-topic)" means writing something which has nothing to do with the subject the message board is there for but it's related with a reply/post from that message board and its used to Avoid Spam. *( i've learn`it from about 4 years of Admin on message boards, but i dont think you have that much as a Moderator even, just saying)

Well, I personally don't think we should get a whole new regular member to replace James. He, along with Justin, thought up of the idea of by-laws. Maybe we could find a replacement, just for the month?

Well, Nicki can take James' place permanently and Suzzette can take Nicki's for the staff part of the committee as she sparked interest...if that's fine with you.

So is that just for regular member or staff as well? I think that the whole committee should have some say on which two people come in, regular and staff wise.

if that's the case, then you have to say nicki's position was changed from staff member to nonstaff member, not she's simply given the position.
