some things i would recommend doing first:
1. write a brief objective (pinned).
2. rules and regulations. for example, in my student assembly, we follow
roberts rules.
good luck and God bless!

I regret to inform everyone that Fae (Spirited Away) has removed herself from the committee as a member delegate, meaning that we are looking to fill one position
please Post here if you are interested, using your CB account.
All of Fae's votes up until this point remain valid

I don't see why you didn't just choose from the original pool of applicants. It doesn't seem fair, I'm sure, not only to me, but others as well. I doubt many others have even taken note of the shortly-open position.

So? I and many others also applied before, too. So how is that even in the least bit fair? Seems like favoritism.

It isn't favoritism, maybe he just thought that no one else who applied would want it.
Go ahead and ask again, I don't really care.

i chose from radhika and rachel because i had made that post a couple of days before i made the selection, and they were the two who expressed interest. i wanted someone who was checking regularly, and the people who saw it and replied promptly seemed to fit that best.
and out of the two, i chose rachel because she had applied originally.

You posted it the day before either of them posted and they posted only 3 minutes apart, at the end of the day.
Besides, I didn't even think to check the "new forum" topic before someone sent me here. I don't think "new forum" screams out "apply if you're interested here".
I don't know, you could've given more people a chance to even notice it was in here..I wouldn't have even gone here.

i dont have the ability to create new topics at the moment, nor to pm anyone to do it for me. out of the existing threads, this seemed the best bet.
at the end of the day, unless any one has an issue with the actual person who got on the committee, i dont see why this needs to be an issue.
