It seems like just another love-dovey manga at first, but it really goes deeper than that. Friendships and love... and everything in between. About how unagreeable they are together.

I just asked because chap 33 ended so abruptly, and I just absolutely absolutely NEED to know what happens in 34. Ahhh *throws self into pillow*

^ Anime and manga are like that. They leave you with a cliffhanger so you go crazy to watch the next episode and you yourself start imagining what happens.. Anyways I read the summary and seems good.

I get this from Shojo. I didn't know that was the same person who made Paradise Kiss.
I thought the style looked familiar. I think it's a good manga. It's the best one in my opinion in Shojo Beat.

I own both of the volumes of manga that SB has published, but I've also been reading scans. OMG. This story makes my inside twist and turn. It's agonizing!

I can't believe Soji cheated on Nana. And I just got the Shojo Beat where Nana finds out.
I hate Soji, he's such a jerk.
And I can't believe Nana O is finally going to go see Ren again. I've been waiting for that for so long!!

I saw the first episode a while ago and I liked it but I was reluctant to download the second episode.

But since ive been seeing a lot of good reviews i might try to download the second epi ^_^

I liked the movie alot! Mika Nakashima did a good job portraying Nana Osaki. Hyde (My hero :D) also did a good job composing Glamorous Sky.

I love this story, but I think I ruined it for myself. I subscribed to ShojoBeat because NANA was my favority series that they were featuring. Well, a chapter once a month wasn't enough for me, so I went looking for scans. You know what? I found them. I read so far past what's been put out by SB that I don't really have much interest in it anymore. IT JUST TAKES TOO LONG TO COME OUT! I love the story, but I guess I'll just have to wait until more gets translated/scanlated/whatever.

*sigh* Why do I do this to myself?

i love nana! i was introduced to it from shojo beat, but went ahead and read scanlations online. the series definitely gets more interesting and dramatic later on...

I started watching the anime a few weeks ago. It's sooooo so so good.

I just started watching the anime a short while ago as well. It is really good!!

The art was just as awesome when compared with the manga. Everyone looked very similar, except for Nobu. Nobu looked a little weird. ^_^;; But he's still cute!

Nobu and Shin are my favorite. :] They're so sweet. <3 I've only see like, 7 episodes so far though. haha :P

Eeek and regarding the scanlations, ACK I'm still mad about the whole Takumi thing. I wanted Nana and Nobu to get together. Maybe they will in the end? Who knows..

The more I watch (and read), the more torn I am. This is such a gripping story. I have no idea how this is going to end!!

btw, I do not like Miu, or Reira and Shin, or Nobu and his girlfriend. I guess I like the idea of Nana, Hachi, and the bands getting together like one huge family. Yeah, I know. Highly unlikely.

I read the first four volumes of Nana at Barnes and Noble last Friday and would've read the fifth, but it was getting late and I had to go home. It's awesome! Ditto mishyerr about hating Shoji. He's such a bum. Poor Hachi.

To the posts about the anime and movie being rated R: Well, the manga has a lot of drinking and some nude scenes in it, so the rating is understandable.

I still can't get over how much of a sleaze Shoji is!

I just read volume 10 of NANA yesterday. Hachi is so adorable in the first movie; I love Aoi Miyazaki. Mika Nakashima's fabulous as Nana.

This manga is unlike any other series I've ever read, and the only music manga that has ever truly interested me. I love Ai Yazawa for this.

I thought Mika kinda messed up on playing Nana. Nana was supposed to be energetic and aggressive. But she played her like a pot head :\.
