Yeah. I'd be pretty terrified of getting a face transplant from a dead person, but I guess if it was between having lots of pain and funny looks, I'd choose the transplant.
Still creeps me out though.

Skin is just another organ. It just so happens that you can see this organ. Then getting a face transplant is simply getting an organ transplant. And people don't seem to find organ transplants disturbing.
This seems to bother people because this can dramatically change your look and it's something new. People can tend to fear things that are new. Personally, I think that if your skin was disfigured in some way, this transplant should be allowed. It is just the same as getting a new organ because your old one doesn't work anymore. In this case, the skin is damaged and you need new skin.
The only problem I see with this is the risk of infection and the uncertainty of what will happen.

^ Yeah. I'd be pretty scared if my body rejected the donor's face. That would be pretty bad.

i saw it on tv... the girl got mauled by a dog or something, so they wanted the person's face...
