Ok i have this Logitech camera right? Well it isn't working.

I've installed the software and hooked it up to the USB port and this is what the message says:

"This application requires a supported camera."

wth does that mean?

The camera is made for my type of comp (mac os x) and its being stupid. I've unistalled it a reinstalled it but its still being stupid! IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT WRONG PLEASE TELL ME!!!!

Have you tried using iPhoto to get the picture off of the camera? Or Image Capture? Both come with Mac OS X.

it isn't digital camera its a web cam, the web cam won't even take pictures! =[

It comes with Mac OS X, but you use it with still digital cameras, not webcams.

Anyway, what kind of camera is it?
Serendipityxx
^ do you mean what kind of webcam?.. cause i dunno, Lol. sad eh? =/ i gotta get this working.
mipadi
Yeah. There should be a model name and/or number stamped somewhere on the camera, or maybe there is some paperwork (a manual or registration card) that lists the model name and number? Also, what's the name of the software?
Serendipityxx
i dunno i got it as a gift, like just the camera and the CD, my friend who gave it to me said it worked on mac, but she has everything else i think.

Well, the best I can suggest is search the Logitech website's help section or email the customer support department at Logitech.
