If anybody sends you that and then immediatly signs off for no reason, don't download it. I'm a stupid idiot for doing it.
So, once you install it, it sends blank messages to random buddies on your buddy list, and it just screws like that for about a minute...
...this is a virus, and I'm scared now. What is the best program to remove it??
;_;
*edit*
OMFG, IT IS PHUCKING UP MY ENTIRE BUDDY LIST RIGHT NOW, HELP!
Does anyone know if this will actually affect your computer too?? Because I can just delete my account on the computer & on AIM right away...;_;

It's just some stupid thing. It won't affect your computer.
To get rid of it, try using Norton, Lavasoft Ad-aware or an online virus scanner like
PandaSoftware.
Or try the links in this cB topic about getting rid of viruses:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86022Good luck!
(btw I got rid of the clickability of the link in your original post to prevent others from clicking it instinctively, and thereby getting the AIM thing themselves.)

You could try uninstalling AIM and then reinstalling it..That's what I did when I got a virus...
It shouldn't do anything to the rest of your computer, I don't think.

Well, that's odd. I usually receive so many pop-ups with AIM viruses and I clicked on one of them once, but ch'yeah. I didn't get this one.

You can always go for MSN.
I'd use McAfee for scanning Viruses.

It wouldn't happen if you didn't use the supplied software. For example, someone sent me one of those viruses too. But I use gaim, so it didn't affect me. I wondered what it was at first. So I Downloaded it, and ran it. It didn't do anything but just was a useless process running in the back.

A few of my friends had that a while back. I think they just ran Adaware and that took care of it.
