Has the ability to search for strings less than 4 characters in length been turned off again? I get an error every time I try to do so that my string is not at least four characters in length and cannot be searched for.

I thought the limit was supposed to be gone, but I've been getting message as well. Not sure, but I wish it'd go away.

I also thought it was fixed.

But I get:

One or all of your search keywords were below 4 characters or you are searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please go back and increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords.

Actually, I've always got that.

True that. I wonder what's happening.

I know it's making me really mad. Today I was trying to look for a duplicate topic twice and i couldn't find it due to this problem.

Yeah, what happened?
I was searching for the duplicate topic to "Red Eye", but both words are under 4 letters, so instead I typed in words related to the movie, such as "rachel mcadams, plane, etc..". Haha. Try that, Lorena. _smile.gif
Anyhow, I hope this problem is fixed.

hi,
the minimum character length was never lowered. if it had, the search query wouldn't have returned any results anyway. this is due to the limitation of the database we're using. sorry for the inconvenience.
