Have you heard of this show yet?
It premieres on October 17 2005.
I read an article about it in the magazine Seventeen and it said,
It's about Seventeen college girls duke it out for a big scholarship, a paid intership, and the chance to be
Seventeen's February 2006 cover girl.
Who: Smart, beautiful driven girls vie to be the ultimate role model for 13 million
Seventeen readers.
What: Lots of tears and backbiting between the girls as they try to prove how "perfect" they are to our editor, Atoosa.
Reasons to see it: The crazy things we catch them doing when they think the cameras aren't rolling.
Honestly, I think it looks like it'll be okay..

Actually, I'm kind of excited.

Wow, I haven't heard of this show yet but it would have been a good idea for me to "duke it out for a big scholarship, a paid intership, and the chance to be Seventeen's February 2006 cover girl." Sounds like fun, thanks for the info^^

haha what the hell? ultimate role model involves backbiting? sorry, but if i had kids, i wouldn't want them to be looking up to backstabbers.
of course the concept sounds interesting. but it's just BS how they say they're going to be role models.

It sounds rather cliche but I'd love to see a bunch of fake girls try to brown nose their way up to the top.
Actually, I'd like to see an ordinary girl do this. An ordinary, plain-jane, not pretty, but very smart girl win. That's the true role model, right? She'd represent us more than these perfect, fake, rich Barbie dolls they always show.

Yah i've heard about it, but i'm probably not going to be watching it. Sometimes those girls make me sick, they will be backstabbing each other, have major attitudes and all this competition to come off looking good? eh, nah not my kinda show. lol

I see pretty, seemingly nice accomplishing girls at my school backstab each other every day. And I have to listen to it. Not that I choose to. It's kind of entertaining sometimes. I might watch watch a few episodes.

Chii
Oct 5 2005, 06:38 PM
i've seen commercials for it...some of those girls are such b*tches
if some b*tchy, rude ass girl wins, i will be very mad. what kind of role model would she make?

Oct 5 2005, 08:22 PM
fighting and backstabbing to be a role model..??! omg..how ironic. ..it sounds reeally dumb and omg..the kids who WILL be watching the show...will then prolly idolize the winner..the winner aka role model= congratulations! u have won b/c u r the rudest..sluttiest..b*tchiest backstabber!!! ...what kind of role model is that? its so sad..

Why'd you bring this back?!
Teesa
Feb 8 2006, 07:20 PM
Okay, the show is long over, but I really didn't think Atoosa chose the right person. Jen (I think that's her name?) was too emotional and personally, the other girl seemed a lot better fit.
