it's a shame that i never learned how to say no
somehow i let things get out of control .
i looked in your eyes, i thought i saw true,
didn't know i was looking at the monster in you .
you said that you loved me, you'd always be there,
asked me if i trust you, told me you care .
repeated that, for me, you'd give up the world .
and like the fool that i was, i believed every word .
i gave into lust and dirty desire,
and now here i am, love left uninspired .
