i was wondering if it bothers a guys, for his girlfriend to be more athletic, than him. im very very athletic and sometimes i feel kinda weird, when i beat guys in sports like basketball and track!! some of my guys friends at skool, say that they wouldn't want to date a gurl that is better than them in a sport, especially if its a sport that they are good at. but for me i think that it is really kool to c a gurl better than a guy in a sport!! just my opinion

You'll never beat me in a sport! heh, im kidding. But yes they have to be athletic, if more than I, so be it. It just can't be one of those girly girls that are to scared to get sweaty/dirty. I just want to shoot myself hearing them.

I'd probably find it embarassing cuz all my friends would be buggin me about how she's better than me at sports... but if I liked her it wouldn't matter, right?
I guess I wouldn't mind, as long as she doesn't like brag about it or anything lol.

Guys are too concerned about what their friends think if a girl is better at them in something. It's so retarded.

They base it on their man-hood. If they beat a girl, they're 'The Man'. But when they lose, they're a punk. To me, the real 'Man' is the one who can accept it for once

I kinda think it's sexist when a guy finds it weird when a girl is more athletic. I mean I do know that guys have some physical advatanges but it is kinda sexist to think that way. But for some reason, none of the boys in my school care if the girl is more athletic. In fact, I heard one of them say they want to have a real good sporty girl for a gf.
I agree with the person on top of me also.

Some guys are self-conscious about their manhood, and wouldn't appreciate a girl who has more athletic ability than them.

I find it funny you said that since half the girls I know always ask "Do I look fat in this?" As you are confused why we care about our manhood, tis the same for women and their looks.

I don't think beating a chick at a sport would make a guy ''The Man''. It's kind of expected, given the obvious physical advantages that men posess. Unless of course, the female has more training or experience in the given sport. For example, I suck A-hole at softball ( my girl beats my persian ass at it). But if the two people have equal skill at a given sport, then it's kind of expected that the male will win.

i know jells, its hard being a Taylor haha. but I dont usually have that problem. but i guess it would suck if your gf was more
athletic than you. but it wouldnt bother me at all if my gf was better than me at a certain sport that i dont even play.

personally, if a bot has a problem with me being more athletic than them, then to hell with them. I've been playing sports since i was little and started playing for teams when i was in 6th grade. I started lifting weight in 9th grade at the age of 14 cuz of track and field. I throw shot put, javelin, and discus. I tend to work out a lot. I'm 16 going on 17 in two months and this past year i've benched 105 lbs and I can squat a good 410lbs as well, but i can't do that anymore cuz i have a bad knee, now i can only squat 185 lbs, cuz i don't want to completely blow out my knee. I weigh 170 lbs, then last time i checked which was June 2005. Mostly it's just muscle fat...so don't think i'm one of those manish girls, i'm not i'm just strong and i take working out seriously....so if any guy were to have a problem with me being more athletic oh well..
