When I had a PC I had a Memorex DVD RW drive. It worked really nicely.

On my mac I have a SuperDrive.

Are you sure you have the right DVD? It seems odd that a DVD burner would just not burn on the correct disk... Does the Drive itself work? Like can it read the DVDs? If It can still read then it should write.. thats bizzaro

well it makes this weird noise when i put it in.... ermm.gif It just doesnt go through... its office max brand, so im not sure if it has to do with the right brand of disk. If my computer can read regular movie dvd's, i just dont know why it cant write on blank writable dvd's.... huh.gif

There are a few different formats of writable/rewritable DVD's. Rewritable formats are subtlely marked with a + or a -. Most drives are DVD+/-RW (meaning they support both formats) but there is a chance you got a DVD+RW or a DVD-RW drive.
