okay. so i really want myself to be un-google-able (no, i'm not running from any investigators, police or anyone at all), if that's possible, and to do that.. i would like to delete my account here.

how do i do that?

and if only the admin could do that (disable, i think is what they call it), can i have any admin disable mine?

thanks!

replies are much appreciated. (:

I think admins do have the ability to delete accounts, but they're not supposed to unless it's necessary.

I wouldn't worry too much about being able to find your account on Google. First of all I don't see why it would come up since you don't even have any personal information anywhere. Also, you haven't done anything particularly embarrassing. All I can tell about you is that you must like Emma Roberts and Rachel McAdams. shrug.gif

We'll delete accounts, but usually only if there's a good reason. If you're worried about someone finding you on Google, change your username: http://www.createblog.com/home/username.php Otherwise there aren't any posts on your account but one and there isn't any personal information here that isn't removable.

i didn't even know if its completely possible to "run away" from google, once google sends out its spiders, its hard for you to not show up on google, and there's that memory system that shows years old material just recently update, there's the Cached system, and the Similar pages section so its very difficult to run away from google, it always watching you... even if you change your usernames, there's a good chance your new username will be linked to your names and site stuff even if its 10 years old, it will show up on the search results. deleting your account or changing your name won't do much but make take an extra minute to find you.

my point: you cannot hide from google

Internet search engine Google is drawing praise from civil libertarians for its refusal to hand over records about the search requests of millions of its users to federal prosecutors. Government lawyers say they need the information to defend a law meant to protect children from online pornography.

Oh why the hell not? It's convenient and likely to turn up a bunch of results! When I google it, it's pretty much my way of loading up my bookmarks to see if there have been any updates.

All I have to do to find CP is visit 12chan, and I'm set until I'm done fapping. I don't need Google for this.

With google I can increase my preference for certain websites so I can filter the types of child pornography I like.

Well, child porn and deleting accounts in perfect harmony in a topic.

The OP hasn't returned yet, so this must not be very important to her.
