you can change the color of some not all parts of the navigation. when you hover over a tab on the navigation, it drops down a list of links. how do you change those links text color (default blue)?

I haven't figured out how to do that yet, and I don't think you or anyone will be able to either. MySpace sets those list properties' styles to !important so editing them is most likely impossible. Sorry.

you CAN do that but only if you're using profile 2.0
the pound (#) character is not allowed in profile 1.0 therfore you can't do that in 1.0 i would give you the link to my myspace so you can see how it looks but that's considered 'spamming' on here. |

She obviously doesn't want a code for a 2.0 profile since the screenshot she posted is of a 1.0 page.

the way i do that is i find out the exact code for it, then i put a banner code there,
after that then i find the corrext posotioning to make it look perfect, the image sits under the nav bar that makes the nav bar see through showing just the image and the "home ect ect" btw i forgot to say, this works on profiles 1.0 so you can do it using 1.0 just try using my method. |

^That won't work because she wants to change the dropdown menu, not the navigation bar. Plus, it's the font color she wants to change.
Andres, I didn't say it was impossible. I said it most likely was. |

uhm in my coding when i change my link font colour it changes the nav colour, then i use my background technique to do the background colour,
so i sometimes have green font up there with lets say yellow background. |

You're talking about changing the nav bar. Stephanie wants to change the dropdown menu that shows when you hover over the nav bar.

Posts merged. Yeah, but that code only changes the background of the dropdown menu. She's looking for a code that will change the color of the text. Unfortunately, she most likely won't find one.
Edit: Topic closed & moved. |
