CANT GET SCREENSHOT TO WORK!!, ive tried everything.. please help!

Ive tried to put up my first myspace layout but I dont know how to upload the image for it. screenshot? i dont know how to do that or make it 4:3

please help!

Do you have a Microsoft computer, or a Mac?

for windows, you make your internet explorer full-screen with f11. then you hit prt scr to copy your entire screen aka screen shot. _smile.gif

then you open photoshop or whatever image-editor you have, and open a new document, and then hit ctrl-v to paste it on there.

i have windows but my keyboard is different. for f11 it says forward and when i click it a box comes up that says "find" and a text box under it.

That's okay, you don't have to make it full screen.

well im not sure where the prnt scrn is. i see it on the keyboard next to scroll lock but its not doing anything :(

Nothing shows up on your screen or anything. It's just like copying.

im still trying to upload my first layout (im new)
but i cant get the screenshot thing to work.
i made the page fullscreen then i hit the prtscr button on my keyboard . ..
then i went to photobucket and clicked upload file and ctrl+v and hit upload but it says its an invalid file or something. i have windows vista if that has anything to do with it.
thanks a lot _smile.gif

open photoshop. and then opening a new document. paste it on there. flatten, then save it.

You don't need PS for something as simple as this, haha. Use MS Paint.

Press the Print Screen key, above the Insert/Home/Page Up keys.

i pressed it and hit ctrl+v but nothing came up .
then i went to the top and it wouldnt let me hit the paste button.
maybe my prtscr button is broken.

is there another way to do prtscr?

because f11 on my keyboard isnt full screen like every other keyboard. but f8 is full screen. idk whats wrong w/ my comp!!!
