Unfortunatly Darz, constructing a quality, working DIV layout is not really something that can be explained to you with a few casual sentences of overlarge font.
First off, think what you understand about HTML / CSS already. What do you know a DIV layout to be? It's easier if you think of your original Myspace layout as a table with a load of graffiti on. Your DIV layout is something like a table-cloth; which will cover your page. But you've got to know how to do that and how to manipulate code. This topic: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=142922 is a step-by-step guide on how to construct simple DIV layouts; but remember that it is not simply a skill you will magically aquire. You'll need to put many hours of fustration, hair-pulling and swearing at screens before you get the hang of it all. Researching basic examples on the web is also a good starting point. S. Majere x |
