I posted my entry today and all of a sudden the width of the entry had doubled, required the use of the scroll bar at the bottom. ALL of my entries on that page changed also. However, the entries on the "next" page did not. I didn't change any setting. Any idea what happened and how to restore it? Thanks
~~g.

No, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. It just decided to widen itself.

<marquee width="750" height="20" direction="left" scrollamount="8"><br><font face="Andy" size="16pt" color="#ff99ff">Dance like no one's watching, love like you've never been hurt.</font><br></marquee>

<style type='text/css'>
.itemTitle{
font-family: Andy;
font-size: 3em;
color: #cc99ff;
border-bottom: 7px dotted #ff99ff;
font-weight:bold;
}
</style>

My marquee of 750 is within the normal range. (Plus, I've had it forever and haven't changed it.) The only thing in my Webstat is a tracker. The only thing that changed is my entries. The entire space is wider. All the other things on my site are still within the page. I can't find any setting that change the margins of the entries. My marquee is still fully on the page, so are the modules and everything else. The weird part is that on my previous pages, the setting are correct. It's only the current page that is stretched. (My DD has a page also and she's had no problems ~ I was thinking my computer had spazzed.)
Any ideas?

.... Did you recently change you screen resolution? The width of your page in page settings? Otherwise, could you please post your xanga?
I'd like to see it first hand.

My Xanga name is Chefwannabe
Feel free to see if you can determine what happened. I've read the source code and all my setting are at 100%, I didn't change anything. Yesterday, I wrote my entry and when I hit SAVE (or whatever the button says) it came up with the new width. ALL the entries on the page also changed width. I even deleted some of my comments, thinking that THEY somehow changed it. (I don't know how other people's setting affect mine, it may be possible.) I even compared the code from today's screen with "Next" screen. The setting seemed to be the same.
Thanks again

[ http://www.xanga.com/Chefwannabe ]?
Works fine. 1024 by 768 resolution, IE&Mozilla. If you'd like me to check Firfox or Opera, I'd be happy to do so too... But really. It's perfectly fine. Try refreshing or having your friend view it.
Oh, and check your text settings. (View -> Text Zoom/Size -> 100%/Medium)

Thanks for your help. It's fine because I deleted the 5 entries on the front page. Whatever was in that or the comments was what changed the width. I guess I'll never know. I just hate having to delete the entries. But, it hasn't happened again and hopefully won't.
