Argh! My interests are all screwed up! Options

This is driving me crazy, and I'm sure it's just something simple to fix, but I'm really stupid when it comes to this stuff.. (hangs head in shame)

Ok, I used a premade layout for my page. Everything is fine with it except you can't see my interests unless you scroll over them.

As I was experimenting, I found that if I disable the links on the interests (the <z> thing), you can see everything fine. The problem is when linking is not disabled.

I don't want to disable my links, so don't advise me to do that ^_^

I also tried to change font colors but that didn't work, although it is entirely possible I did something wrong.

To demonstrate what it's doing, I have left everything on <z> except my music section. That way you can see what it looks like when linking is enabled and when it's disabled.

Any help would be much appreciated! I'm just setting this thing up and it's driving me to the point of insanity already..
