Soooo, my computer crashed and I had to re-install everything.

My friend told me if I plug my iPod into the computer now that there's nothing in iTunes, it'll delete everything off my iPod.

I come to you to tell me if that's the truth or not?

AND, if it is, what can I do to prevent it?

Thanks.

Yes, you should import all of your music into iTunes before trying to update your iPod.

If I recall, the first time you plug the iPod into a "new" computer, it should ask you if you want to udpate immediately.

^Thats why apple suggests backing up your music on something other than an Ipod.
