how do i get rid of the white spots that are blocking my background?

White spots? I don't see any white spots or do you mean that white rectangular that is on you're background? If it is, then try moving you're blog and see what happens if the white block would go away.

When you hid your profile .. if you used the code to hide your entire profile.. Make the widht smaller so it doesn't hide it.
