If I would just delete my My Pictures folder, I'd probably be able to get back at least half of my hard drive.

dang 3 gigs, what kinda program was that

my hard drive is only 60 gigs cry.gif now macbooks have like 120 standard. it makes me mad.

i deleted garageband. it had tons of music clips/samples/sound effects/ect included with it, so i guess that's what made it so much.

Deleting programs won't make your computer faster, anyway.

JC, I got me a 450g external and I've got about 40g of movies (goes upe very weekend) on it, and my macbook itself has like 10g free haha, and it's the 120 one. Should get one imo and store all your media on it.

i really need to just upgrade my internal one. i wanted to upgrade it and install leopard, but i couldn't bring myself to spend the money. i had already spent over 400 bucks on a memory upgrade, a new battery and all the adobe design programs i needed. people are amazed that i can slip by with 60 gigs still though laugh.gif

what external did you get an how much?

i bought a western digital one like a year and half ago, and it sucked. it's pretty big (in actual size, not space), and that's inconvenient to me, but the bigger inconvenience is that it doesn't f**king work. i currently have some music on there and two seasons of prison break episodes, and i think those are pretty much stuck there forever. i plug it in and it rarely recognizes my computer at all. the only way i've found of even having a chance is if i hold the thing over my head...for some reason that sometimes makes my computer recognize it. it'll make twirling sounds for a minute and then stop over and over. i duno it just really sucks and was a waste of prob 80-100 bucks i can't really remember.

Well if you want a super convenient external, try one of these. USB powered.

I use one of these. It has to be plugged into the wall, but I'm quite content with it.

p.s. Why did you buy your programs? xmas.gif

yeah that usb powered one looks like what i'd prefer. i'd like one that i can take with me easy like that.

i bought the programs because i'm a legal

i felt bad to steal them, even though i know that's how most people around here get their photoshop, illustrator ect. if i was 16 with no income i'd prob steal them too though. i got hundreds of dollars worth of student discounts by buying it at my school computer store though, so i didn't mind paying for it. since i need it for class, then i think of it just like book expenses sorta.

i have a guilty concious when it comes to stealing a big amount at once, like software, even though i've stolen probably thousands of dollars of music over a few years time ermm.gif

I don't, haha. I buy what I can with a student discount, i.e. getting office for twenty bucks, but I don't intend to spend that much on photoshop if I only use it ever so often. Speaking of illustrator, this cracker is going to attempt to learn to vector.

I would gain so much space if I got rid of CS2. I have CS2, CS3, and CS4 on there.
