My mom, brother, & I were at Costco today & ordered a pizza. We always have the habit of "patting" the pizza with napkins to take off the grease. So we did it. And as my mom was doing it, this guy was just staring at us & probably thinking "Wtf are they doing?" But to us it's normal because well, it's a habit.
Do you guys eat certain foods a certain way? Like whenever I eat pasta with chicken or whatever, I always roll the pasta first & then get a piece of chicken. I dk why. And whenever I drink drinks that are high in sugar, like Sunny D & Cranberry juice, I always put a little bit of water first so it isn't as sweet, you know? |

I've seen people do that to pizza before, siphoning off the grease. The first time I saw it, I probably thought it was weird, but I've seen enough people do it by now that it's no big deal. I also know what you mean about the spaghetti and the chicken. I do that, except I don't eat meat, so I'm picking up a piece of Tofurkey sausage
When I was in elementary school, I used to slide the cheese off my pizza to save it for last. Now, I either fold or tear my pizza slices in half. Also, I will not eat a sandwich or burger until it's been cut in half. Edit: You could've called this thread food habits =\ |

I'm always too hungry to do that to my pizza lol.
Umm, I roll my spaghetti on fork before shoving in my mouth. I don't know if its considered a habit but I drink my drinks REALLY slow, like I take tiny tiny sips while my sister like finishes hers in 5 minutes. I can never do that. And I add water to drinks if it's too sweet too. |

Edit: You could've called this thread food habits =\ Can you change it for me, please? Speaking of sandwiches, I feel weird eating them without chips. It's like a burger without french fires. What I do sometimes is I put some chips in the sandwich & eat it like that. And have some chips on the side of course. Wow I have some of the weirdest eating habits lol. I don't know if its considered a habit but I drink my drinks REALLY slow, like I take tiny tiny sips while my sister like finishes hers in 5 minutes. I can never do that. I'm like your sister. Kind of. I mean I don't chug the drink but I drink things pretty fast. My grandma, on the other hand, is like you. She takes forever lol. |

I like rolling up my spaghetti on a fork on a spoon. If that made sense. Then I let go of the fork and eat the spaghetti from the spoon. It's much neater this way.
There's other stuff but I need to stop procrastinating. |

^ I do the rolling up with a fork (or chopsticks) for all noodles. All. People look at me funny when I do it.

Chopsticks are hard to roll with though, so I leave that technique for only when I have a fork + spoon handy, which is usually when I eat spaghetti.
Plus my mom would probably have a fit about how I'm eating azn noodles with a spoon LOL |

Oh man, I CANNOT eat noodles correctly. I never order them when I go out because it becomes a war between me and the fork and the spoon and noodles that are always eluding me.
If I ever eat pancakes or waffles, I never put the syrup on them, I put it on the side of the plate. They get soggy if you put it on them. |

^ Oh man, I'm so stupid... I never thought to put the syrup on the side!! I'll be sure to do that next time I eat pancakes.

Oh! Another habit: I dip my breakfast "sausage" in maple syrup. Done it ever since I was a little kid. There's something about the combination of sweet, savory, and salty.

If I could, I'd only eat the top of muffins, like they sell muffies at Panera Bread.

What I do sometimes is I put some chips in the sandwich & eat it like that. And have some chips on the side of course. I do that with ranch Doritos and ham cheese and mustard sandwiches xD. When I eat things like M&M's and Skittles, I have to put the same number of them on one side of my mouth as the other. |

Consider it done Haha thank you. If I ever eat pancakes or waffles, I never put the syrup on them, I put it on the side of the plate. They get soggy if you put it on them. I put syrup on them but also put some on the side. Because usually the waffle/pancake has absorbed the syrup by the time I'm half way done so I just dip it in my side syrup. Oh! Another habit: I dip my breakfast "sausage" in maple syrup. Done it ever since I was a little kid. There's something about the combination of sweet, savory, and salty. Oh man I know what you mean. It's so good. Reminds me of that maple McMuffin thing from McDonald's. I can't remember the name. Today I noticed that I have to have my fork on the right & drink on the top left corner of my plate. It's all about balance. |

When we make bacon (rare cause im jewish but its turkey bacon) we put paper towels on top and bottom as it microwaves to take out the grease.
Also we make a lot of dishes with ground beef and we are also big coffee drinkers and whenever we make ground beef when its done we pour the grease and fat into empty coffee cans and we have a bunch of them in the freezer. haha. and I do that water thing with juice. |

Yes! McGriddles. Nah, they scared me before the vegetarianism. Cuz it's like... maple syrup and pancakes, okay. Maple syrup and sausage, okay. But pancakes, maple syrup, sausage, AND eggs? Nah, I'll pass.
Lol why do they scare you? Is it because you're vegetarian? /doesn't really make sense |

I dab the grease off my pizza a lot of the time, too. It makes me feel a bit better about eating it. IDK.
