No. So many FOBs do that where I live, it's irritating.

The only exception I make is for Jaejoong from DBSK. He can do whatever he wants. ;D

I was actually thinking of dyeing part of my hair blond.
But, my parents would never let me.
But, I think it looks pretty nice.

..I said "But" a lot.

^ the world is changing,
not everyone is going to stay "true" to their heritage.
i mean damn ive seen asians with a prada bag, bleach blonde hair, juicy tracksuit, etc.
<3 i think its pretty good that everyone is finally mixing cultures.

How the hell is dying your hair being someone else...?

I think it all depends on the face, really. Cute face? I'm pretty sure you'll be able to pull anything off.

Some girls could pulled it off.
But in general, it definitely does not fit.
I rarely see any asian girls dyed their hair blonde, though.
Well, I have natural black hair and I'm gonna leave it that way.
Because some people actually dye their hair black...I feel lucky that I don't have to.

it's just changing who you are. it's like being totally whitewashed.

it's dyeing your hair, not your personality.

For real.

I personally wouldn't ever go for blonde since it wouldn't match my face, but I know a few Asian girls who can really work the honey brown/blonde hair. My hair's currently a darker shade of red and I don't see it as changing my personality. In fact, I think the things you choose to wear and the changes you make to your body do a lot to enhance your personality.

And plenty of other races dye their hair, too. It's not like we're getting frontal lobotomies, people.

It depends on the person, but I think in most cases it doesn't look nice.

I honestly think that looks rather unnatural, but as long as you're fine with it, it's fine.

you see, here in America the attitude that is fed to us is that outside of America there live lesser people. "f**k them, let them fend for themselves." No, f**k you, they are you. No matter how much you want to dye your hair blonde and put fake eyes in, or follow an anorexic standard of beauty, or no matter how many diamonds you buy from people who exploit your own brutally to get them, no matter what kind of car you drive or what kind of fancy clothes you put on, you will never be them. They're always gonna look at you as nothing but a little monkey. I'd rather be proud of what I am, rather than desperately trying to be something I'm really not, just to fit in. And whether we want to accept it or not, that's what this culture or lack of culture is feeding us.

if you compare dying your hair to not being proud of your race or trying to be something that you're not . . . idk seems kind of weird to me

Yeah it was kinda intended for non-white people who want to dye their hair blond. But then again, there's white Hispanics with blue/green eyes and natural blond hair, who it wouldn't be intended for them either. XD.gif
