i understand div layering and moving the boxes onto the image and stuff like that.....but suppose i don't want to box my blog, just move it onto part of the image?
is that even possible?! |

you don't have to box it..just make the background transparent.

make the height:100%; instead of a specified pixel. Then, you can use the margin-lefts and tops to move the blog area around.

also, if you want to position it, you can use negative numbers if the positive ones don't work. but, experiment to see what you get.
