Shaving, your legs

I dont know if there is a topic on this already but I'm 12 and I wanted to know just out of curiosity how you shave your legs and does it hurt? ermm.gif

no it doesnt hurt. there are many hair removal techniques out there. But shaving is simple you buy a razor and if you want you could buy the gel or use body wash or condition instead. You spread this gel/bodywash/conditioner all over your legs and then you just go up your leg and remove the hair with the razor. No it doesnt hurt at all its painless but it feels nice and smooth after.

i started shaving when i was about 12 and it doesnt hurt. if you cut yourself, it doesn't hurt, it just bleeds like crazy wink.gif .

Thanks for the advice. But wont it grow back? And longer too? Well thats what I heard. And then its such a hassle to shave it like every week.

it doesnt hurt.. unless you cut yourself deep or something to that affect.. but it wont kill you =) yeah itll grow back in a few days but when you shave like everyday your legs feel so smoooth :D

i shave once a week...cuz no ones gonna be like staring at your legs...and no one notices unless they're super thick/long

The razor gets dull and rust grows on it. sometimes. Thats why you might wanna switch razors every 2,3,4 times you shave anywhere.

It doesnt hurt. I started shaving when I was 10.. Mym Mum let me. It doesnt hurt unless you cut yourself.

It only hurts if you cut yourself.
Which I have.. maaaaaaaany times. I'm not very careful.
Just be careful around areas without a lot of skin/tissue/muscle/fat on them.. like knees and shins.

Well if you are scared that it will hurt then use nair first, that's wut I did and it last longer. Then you can work urself up to a razor, juss a buy a really nice shaving cream and juss shave slowly and carefullY!! that's all u need to do!

If nair lasts longer, then why dont people use that instead of a razor?

Well, isn't Nair wax?? I would recommend using Veet for your first time...it comes with a bladeless razor so you don't have anything to worry about and it is supposed to last longer too. It's a newer product, though, and more expensive too so that might be why not that many people use it. When you start shaving with an actual razor, be careful because newer razors are easier to cut yourself with...just be careful around your ankles and knees (I usually stand up when doing the underside of my knees). If you are afraid or unsure about exactly to shave yourself just ask your mom...she should know about this stuff _smile.gif

all u do is wet ur legs,put the shave gel on, and shave against the hair...pretty simple....if u want to kno more ask ur mom....thats what i did!

yea shaving doesnt hurt like that just use shaving cream so you wont start to itch like crazy! but i think waxing is better just cause it takes longer for the hair to grow back
