Well, I'm not sure if it's the best but if you cant tell him face to face...you can one of your friends to tell him. Or you can flirt with him and then he'll probably get some hints and then later, u can ask him if he likes u and for sure, he'll probably ask u if u like him too.

Okay, a couple don'ts first.

Don't have a friend do it for you.

Don't do it through AIM or e-mail.

Alright, it would be nice if you could just tell them to their face, but most people don't have the guts to do that. If you do, go for it!

If you're too shy, though, a note is probably the next best thing. If you're going to do that you should watch him read it so you can see his immediate reaction. (See, with AIM or email it's impossible to tell what his reaction really is.)

If you're going to write a note, never write anything mushy-gushy or anything too deep. Because:

1) If he doesn't like you it's going to creep him out.

2) He could show it to his friends and have a good laugh.

Try to steer away from poems and stuff along those lines, those are dangerous if he doesn't like you. It's scary as sh*t to get a really deep love letter and it might even make them want to avoid you.

If he does like you and you end up going out, maybe then a poem would be nice.

Remember, be straightforward!

In a way that doesn't seem desperate, but it's obvious you care about them. Just be like "Hey.. Uhm, I figured i had nothing to lose by telling you; I like you, a lot. And I mean I'm sorry if this seems weird, but I just trusted you enough to tell you how I feel."

Heh that's really harsh, and who could ever stab the guy they like?!?!

My advice would to tell him face to face that you think you like him, but yeh nothing too deep cos it'll give him the creeps (maybe). Just keep it short n sweet then theres no massive reprocussions afterwards.

You go up to him, say, "Hey, I like you." and walk off or stop and wait to see his reaction. Don't act like it means to much to you.. that might make him feel uncomfortable. And don't let it mean to much to you, that way if he doesn't like you it doesn't hurt your feelings as much.

I have no clue whether or not my crush knows I like him. If it wasn't for our bad days and being there to support one another or the day I met him out in the fields when we had our own little working group outside for a period since the teacher was supervising for the grade 9 orientation, I would've never had the guts to talk to him. Anyway, I don't know what you should do because I have the same problem.

For me, if he really wants to know or if he keeps on asking about what's bothering me and if I'm really up to it, this is how I'm going to do it:

What i would do is either pass him a note, or when im feeling confident, slowly bring the conversation into crushes and relationships and find a way to get him to ask me who i like and id say "you" or something.
