No, but I've always thought it would suck if you did the homework that was required before the class even started just to end up dropping the class.

Nope. The most 'homework'-like thing I've gotten before any class was to read a chapter or two.

That's sad... Well, I'm taking IB and I also do have homework...
And for some weird goddamn reason, my dad signed me up for AP tests - Calc AB, US History, Stats, and Chemistry... Isn't it bad enough that I have to take 16 IB tests?!?!?! |

Yeah but when I was in high school. We had to do this summer project for a Contemporary World Issues class. We had to get articles in different categories (online or from the newspapers on specific days) and write a 1-2page summary and a reaction to that article. We had to do it for several weeks and hand it in with a folder. And if you didn't do it, you failed the class.

Negative. In fact, Of all the classes I've been to, all have said not to worry about anything during the first two weeks.

I Think language courses, especially when you're continuing with them, they try to make you review so you don't sound like you have forgotten everything during breaks.
My japanese teacher did the same but I'm glad she had gave it to us, because on the first day, omg she spoke no english whatsoever and some people (like me!) looked really stupid for forgetting everything. |
