how do i upload my own music in myspace?

you would have to make a whole new account and choose the option to have your profile be a band profile, but remember you can only use the player for the band site if it is your own original work, you cant use other artists songs, because myspace will delete you if you are caught doing that.

On this topic, I cannot convert my profile to a band's profile.

I have done it before with another ID I have by entering the following URL after logging in:

http://login.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=login&nextPage=fuseaction%3DBandProfile.convert

But when I try this for my other band, and editing I submit for my band info is not saved and my profile remains the same.

I have "emailed" MySpace three times on this topic with no response. The original question for this procedure has disappeared from their FAQ list.

Does anyone know how the hell new bands can obtain a band status now? There appears to be no way around this...or are we missing something?
