do you feel like a fatty when you eat late at night. I sure do. :(
Just dominated a plate of spaghetti and I'll probably get more. along with other leftovers I can find. I'm like Grandma's Boy in this bitch. |

i was told that eating late at night and then going to sleep or a bit later slows down the digestive system, but i still eat late anyways :) everything taste better at night

I eat right before bed to prevent nocturnal post-absorptive catabolism, or muscle burning during extended bed rest. 'Course it's always low GI carbs and slow-digesting casein protein, nothing that will spike insulin levels.
People who say "Don't eat after [insert arbitrary time limit like 6:00 pm]" are completely wrong, too. |

I had a red bean ice cream bar at 2 in the morning over the weekend. I like late-night snacking, but I never eat full meals in the dead of night.

If I don't eat something light/small somewhat relative to going to bed then I will wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning so completely starving that it makes me sick. I usually have some crackers or fruit or something.
