Hm, I love colored eye-shadow, but they tend to make me look like a clown, so I usually just stick to naturals.

lol, the nailpolish is me being stupid at Sephora and trying out one of the orange shades ><

I'm pretty sure I'm using some Duane Reade brand eyeshadow I bought because it was dirt cheap. And eyeliner & mascara are some shade of brown from Maybelline

Hm, you can barely see the eyeshadow, but it's a combo from the "Meet the Stones" Bare Minerals pack. And eyeliner & mascara are probably something from a convenient store.

And I only show one eye because I was born with a birth defect that makes my left eye stupid.

gigi, i love the goldish brown shade! what did you use? i seriously think i'm gonna go get it. i can never find a good gold color that isn't tacky and i really like how natural it plus i'm a fan of sparkles =) it looks like you used at least 3 shades right? the goldish one by the tearduct, the light brown in the corners and i think a reddish brown above that? oh and plus the white highlight under your brows? good blend! looks.

^ Pretty much. I used 4 shades though. Light pale, frosty yellow in the inner corner, mid-tone orangey-gold in the middle, coppery colour in the outer corner, plus a matte brown in the crease. Under the brows I used a satin cream colour, and then a pop of the pale frosty yellow I used in the inner corner RIGHT under the arch of the brow.

Which goldish brown shade are you talking about? Since the shadows I used are different from what you thought they were, I'm not sure what area of the eye you're talking about. Tell me and I can suggest what to use. :D

Most of the shadows I used were cheapo ones though, or very old eyeshadows, and hard to find. I could suggest a few alternatives though.

Oh, and it's probably helpful to note that I used a gold cream eyeshadow underneath it all as a base.

Thanks!

i like the satin creme color right under the arch of the brows & the yellow-gold in the inner corner & the matte brown by the crease! have any suggestions on where to get those colors?

and please enlighten me on how to apply eyeshadow as an lower eyeliner cause it also turns out weird/the eyeshadow flakes. i think it's just the brush i'm using. i use a sonia kashuk angled eyeshadow brush?

I used MAC eyeshadow in Vanilla for the satin cream colour.

Matte brown is pretty easy to get anywhere, the one I used was pretty neutral toned (i.e., not a lot of red in it). I might suggest MAC eyeshadow in Espresso for that.

Yellow-gold, maybe Ricepaper by MAC?

I suggested all MAC products because I'm pretty familiar with them, plus I know it'll be easy to find. Of course there are a lot of alternatives, so don't think those are the only ones you can use. I'm sorry I can't recommend the exact colours I used because they're impossible to find online or anywhere now (I tried!).

I've never really experienced eyeshadow flaking so I'm not really sure what you're talking about - do you mean like, the powder goes everywhere? Maybe use an eyeshadow base on your lower lashline - either an actual eyeshadow base or some sort of cream eyeshadow, anything "sticky". I used the tip of a flat eyeshadow brush for the lower lashes, but an angle brush should work. Try dabbing the shadow on instead of sweeping it across.

omg.gif you have just introduced me to a new realm of cosmetics! i now want to buy every single shade of eyeshadow that mac has to offer... they're all so pretty! and i'm only shopping online - imagine what i'll be like when i'm in an actual mac store! so instead of buying like a bunch of eyeshadows, i was looking at the eyeshadow suite. how about THIS maybe?

i don't own any cream shadows cause they always creased very easily, but i'll try the dabbing idea! i think i might just not have the right features for that. like your lower lash line is more inset than mine so it looks really good. erhm it's a hard feature to describe, but it's a good thing! =] i usually don't wear anything on my lower lash line for that reason. if anything, i'll put on top eyeliner. speaking of, i'm running out. perhaps i'll get a mac eyeliner lol.
i'm just gonna go on a mac extravaganza. thanks for the suggestions!!

Don't let online pictures fool you! MAC product photos are infamously deceiving. They're never the same in person =_=.

The Suite Array shadows have been getting crappy reviews, but you never know until you really go and try them. Sweet Liaison looks like an appropriate colour though.

Yeah cream shadows crease for me too, not unless I use Urban Decay Primer Potion! :D Love that stuff to death. I would recommend it to anybody.

I'm glad I fueled your MAC addiction (maybe? LOL). Check out http://specktra.net if you're really into it. The ladies over there are very, very helpful.

I just really want the Emmanuel Ungaro see through lip color and one of the Dual Edge Eye pencils from the old Heatherette collection since mine was stolen a couple months ago.

I know, it sold out in like 2 days! I wasn't a fan of the colours either (when am I going to wear yellow eyeshadow and bright orange blush?!) but the packaging was purty.

I used MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light-Medium. I love it!

Yan lin - Very nice! I wish I could pull off dark colours. I always look like I got hit in the face, or really bitchy LOL.

^ Some people have complained about it breaking them out. I find that it's okay. If you don't use too much of it, it looks quite natural because it's very sheer.

Oh I also used MAC Mineralize blush in Nuance if that's what you meant by what I used on my face, Irene.
