I've updated my index page recently. What do you think of the changes?

Sorry! I updated the old one since I made this post. I'd still appreciate feedback anyway!
I went ahead and changed the post to eliminate the confusion.

I like the flash page.. In my opinion, the index page shouldn't scroll so much vertically if it's only serving as a portal. If it's just links and a photo, I feel like it should all fit in the middle of one page without scrolling. _smile.gif If there was content, scrolling would be justified. The background image is interesting.. Only other thing that bothers me is the fact that there's like a red rectangle behind the title. I didn't get to see the old one, but the new one serves its purpose. thumbsup.gif

^^^ Thanks! The rectanglular box is gone and I'm working on resizing the image on the index page. I appreciate your input!

Not to bug you or anything... But the flash doesn't load for me. mellow.gif I know why it doesn't load in IE (because I turned it off), but it just shows up as white in both Mozilla and Firefox. Which rather bugs me because every other flash application I've encountered works.
Other than that, I agree with Dani (Libertie).

Okay... So I installed the newest version of flash and Mozilla. I don't particularly need Firefox, because I like Mozilla a lot better. &that's all fine and dandy except it still doesn't work. Notice how I said...

What kind of connection do you have? It takes a minute or so to load if you don't have the cookies. If you're on dial-up, it's going to be a while, unfortunately. Can you at least see the index page or the blog?

Sorry you're having problems with the site.

.... It's faster than a T1 line (~3107.4 Kbps). That isn't the problem. I can see everything else. It's just the flash. 'cause I can see everything else.

edit// Just so you know... It's just not working. It loads and everything (the page says done)... And I waited a bit (four minutes) to see if anything would happen. Nothing happened.

I'm absloutely stumped...especially since you updated flash and your browser and your connection could download the Library of Congress, completely, in less than an hour.

It does work in Firefox, but it does in IE. It is weird.

I LIKE HOW IT'S SMALLER. <33

But yeah, the flash thing doesn't work for me, either, just like for Reili.

I have absolutely no idea why that's happening. I've asked a dozen people if they can see the flash and it's working for sure. This is starting to bug me....could it be related to active x? I seriously can't figure this out. If your browser and flash plugin are current it should work.

*scratches head*

*thinks*

If you're willing....please send an e-mail to this address....and describe the problem for me. I'd appreciate it! I want to figure out where these problems are coming from. Thanks everyone for helping!

So, uh, I sent you an email with a screenshot attached. Tried to? Dunno if it went through. And just so you know, the Active X stuff doesn't pop up in Mozilla. Ever. I think it only works in conjuction with IE, but that's just my opinion.
It's pretty! -finally solved the problem by acessing the flsh file directly- And very brown... But brown is cool.
