what kind of mouse do you use?
(ruled out that one cause there isnt one for mac.) http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41X2...L500_AA280_.jpg (looks worse from the angle) those are all the ones im looking at. and i need to keep it reasonably affordable so they are all between 30-40. |

Touchpad on laptop. If I feel like I need a mouse, I just use my tablet. I don't even own a desktop, but if I did...
This would be my bitch. Or this, if it actually existed. |

i never got why people spent that much on either a mouse or a keyboard. i don't get what special shit people need. my mouse is just a little 20 dollar portable logitech one. i never think about my mouse or see how any other mouse could be that much better. i guess there are probably really amazing ones that i don't know about. but for instance at school i use a mighty mouse and i don't get how it's any better than this 20 dollar shit i use at home. i don't see any difference. actually i think i like the one i use here better.

Some are more comfortable on the hand, wireless (going for range and battery time) vs mechanical vs optical (a must-have for gamers) vs biometric (built in fingerprint scanner) vs bluetooth, some have three to four buttons plus a scroll, then you've got trackballs (which are suuuuper nice on the arm, I have one), etc. There's also a factor of resolution for mice. The higher the dpi resolution, the more precise and smooth your mouse will be on screen (gaming mice are usually set at least 1600dpi where as normal ones are only abut 400 - 800 dpi). Ever seen a vertical mouse?
As for keyboards, the same general idea applies. My mum's got a keyboard that's curved with an empty space between the left and right hands, and it's sooo comfortable. Much nicer to type on, especially when writing papers and spending hours at a time on it. It's the Microsoft Natural MultiMedia. It's all about comfort, usability, and of course features. If you design or code professionally, I bet you anything that one-touch feature on the Optimus Maximus allowing you to open and switch between the essential programmes makes the workflow so much smoother and quicker. |

^ Dude did you even scroll down the page? You can programme the thing to look like whatever you want. "Any part of the keyboard surface can be programmed to perform any function or to display any images." There's even Video Mode.

yeah i guess i don't have comfort issues. it seems all the same to me. i'm not that uncomfortable while typing on my normal laptop keyboard. to make my workflow easier then i just use keyboard shortcuts to rotate between programs and windows.

Touchpad on laptop. If I feel like I need a mouse, I just use my tablet. I don't even own a desktop, but if I did... This would be my ***. Or this, if it actually existed. ive seen the first one. and i guess the second is only good for people who look as they type. but only noobs do that. and a noob wouldnt spend a million dollars on a keyboard. so it fails. i never got why people spent that much on either a mouse or a keyboard. i don't get what special *** people need. my mouse is just a little 20 dollar portable logitech one. i never think about my mouse or see how any other mouse could be that much better. i guess there are probably really amazing ones that i don't know about. but for instance at school i use a mighty mouse and i don't get how it's any better than this 20 dollar *** i use at home. i don't see any difference. actually i think i like the one i use here better. then try using some of the mice i have. maybe its a dpi thing cause it acts like it only works on small resolutions cause its like its taking tiny jumps. i totally see your point though. maybe ill just get that ten dollar microsoft one. those are spiffy. |

ive seen the first one. and i guess the second is only good for people who look as they type. but only noobs do that. and a noob wouldnt spend a million dollars on a keyboard. so it fails. How the f*ck does it, showing the keys, differ from any traditional keyboard?! No matter what kbd you get, you're going to see the letters (unless you scratch them off or in the case of reprogrammables, hide them). The kbd doesn't fail, you fail. It wins for complete changeability. And about your OP...idk what's going on with that weird bar on the top of the second keyboard. It looks useless. |

naw because to type without looking you have to feel the texture of the keys. and thats why there are small spaces between keys. also the f and j key on all keyboards have a small bump so you can find your fingers back to the keys when you arent looking. and if it all one flat surface i dont see how they could do that.
also i added another keyboard and mouse. having a real hard time deciding. |

You seem not to care so much about what it does...and they all do the same basic thing anyway. Just close your eyes and pick at random (or generate a bit of PHP to pick one for you, if you so desire...). Or pick the prettiest.
Third mouse, white keyboard. |

i know. there are some other versions of the keyboard that have charging docks for mice and usb ports. this is the minimalist version. i think it would look worse without. nice flow. it will especially look good with my laptop on this.

Well that's just a huge fail. It'd be pretty sexy without that thing, I mean it's super slim and sharp looking.
And yeah wireless stuff is only good if it comes with a wired option (like the new PS3 controllers) and your screen is big enough to need it. When we can do wireless charging, though (mainstream, not that creepy lightning stuff that'd fry your hand off), that's when I go wireless whee. |

f*ck keyboards, there should be voice command. The computer will be able to form the words into a sentence and correct any grammar issues , be able to detect which type of word ur using in its context, blah blah

and you can navigate your computer using only the voice. |
