pad or tampon? shaving, which is more comfy?? Options

i dont have my period yet but i think im about to start like... really soon so im just wondering, which is more comfy, a pad or a tampon... i heard from some ppl that tampons like... hurt a lot... but like... wouldnt pads feel like... diapery?? and also, i got shaving cream in the summer and im almost out and im afraid to ask my mom to buy me more... what should i do??? HELP ME!!!!!

Pads for me dont feel diapery , depending on which type do you get , get thin ones if you notice that you dont bleed heavy. I dont like tampons right now. About shaving , its normal just ask your mom unless you werent supposed to be havin it in the first place , or better just use conditioner.

tampons are way more comfy in my opinion...pads feels so icky and blah for mee...umm...as for shaving cream...is there a reason you cant ask your mom? i dont really use shaving cream i just use like the body wash gels...it works for mee orrr you can go out and buy it yourself...

Why would your mom disapprove of shaving cream? Are you too young to be shaving? Soap can be an okay substitute, but it also depends on the quality of the razor you use.

wellz, i havent try tampons yet but pads dont let it "breathe" much cuz, u know, when u start changing, u can already feel it like it can breathe now.

as a beginner for getting periods, i suggest you use a pad...
but when you get used to it, then try tampons.
the preference varies with each girl.
and why would you be afraid to ask your mom to buy shaving cream?
she's your mother; i don't think she'd mind.

you can't wear tampons if you just got your period and people have different opinions on pads and tampons...you just have to experience it

I have to wear both. and please, just go up to ur mom and ask her for some shaving creame. I doubt she'll hate you for it. there is nothing abnormal about shaving.

yeah, since you're about to start your first period, you should use pads first. if you really want to, then you can start shaving...after all, sometimes i forget when i start my period because i never keep track and my pubic hairs would stick to the dried blood, that hurt so bad so i started shaving then.

be careful when you're shaving...if you cut yourself there it'll be a lot worse then cutting you're leg shaving

umm.. pads at first then go to tampons when ur comfortable.. and as for ur mother. when ur at the store place it in the cart and dont say anyting if she asks say u need it ... and walk away

pads are the devil. don't have a hard time asking your mom for shaving cream. she won't mind.

I use a tampon...the only time i really use a pad is when its a heavy flow and im going to bed and if you need some more just tell your mom she cant be that freaked....just think about when you have to tell her that you have started...dont worry it will all be fine

I use tampons..they are pretty easy. You should start out with pads for a bit if your scared..I find them incrediably uncomfy though. It feels like a diaper.

I prefer pads better, although i never tried a tampon, i don't think i'll be trying one on anytime soon. Shaving is alright. juhs make sure you don't cute yourself. (:

i use pads and after awhile, you can't feel them. the first day is kinda weird but it's also cuz you just started. about the shaving, if you're really embarrassed just use conditioner or soap or something. just be careful that you don't get cut.

I think pads would be pretty for when you start. Because tampons you might have trouble with at first and your gonna have enough to worry about when its just starting.

and for the shaving cream, if your aloud to go shopping with your friends or by yourself, do that. And go buy yourself some shaving cream Another way is if you have some self check out stores there, buy a smaller container, pay for it when your moms on the other side of the building, then stick it in your pocket. or bring a knapsack if you can
