How do you tell if a guy likes you?, and not by just asking him... Options

Silimilar to 50% of the world, I can be extremely shy around guys that I like...But before you take the plunge, how do you know that a guy really likes you, and is not just toying with your emotions? Is it that "looking at you or looking away from you" kind of game...i just don't know. plus: what if this guy is incredibly shy too? now what?

well its kind of hard to tell weather a guy likes you or not..if they want to keep it a secret then you kno for sure that there secret is safe b/c they dont show it if there extremly shy, but if they guy is 'out there' and able to recongize that HE does like you , u can tell by the way he act around you like you can look at the difference at how he treats you between other girls

Wow. This is a tough one. I guess the only way you can tell is if you look directly at him and you can just tell sometimes. it's just in the facial expression. Even if the guy is an idiot and you hate him and he's a pervert, you can just tell. I have a boyfriend and the first time we met was when I tripped down a flight of stairs and he asked me if I was okay. I looked at him and I knew he liekd me and I knew I liked him too.

sry for posting again but before, a lot of guys all humped me and my friends not seriously on for fun ..well for them i guess...that didnt mean they liked us, cause they just wanted to be ''atatched '' with a girl...

well.. to be honest, it varies. i dunno how true it is.

for me, if i like a girl, i stare at her in a way that i think i look quite calm and gentle. with a pretty smile.

and some guys tend to look quite shy when they see a girl they like. they first start looking, then the girl realized she's being looked at, she looks back, but of coz the guy wun keep on stare at her, instead the guy will pretend as if nothing happened.

and btw, i heard from some source saying when guys flirt or see a girl, the guys' eyes are in triangle motion, looking to the girls one eye, then the other eye, then the forehead. dunno how true it is again.

when a guy looks at you..it could be that his eyes wander...meh, you can never tell..but if he like could just say something to you or do a little thing...or even ask if you're OK or anything like that...always wait to see you in the hallway...then you know he likes you.

uhmm i'd say the way he acts around you. if he's shy he'll look at you alot and try to be around you, if he's not then he'll probably talk to you alot.

well, for me its usually when you both always catch eachother looking at one another, sometimes they over flirt or just sorta goof off and be mean to you (pathetic, but thats what my bf did before)

all guys have their own way of showing their feelings for someone. even if you are too shy to ask, that's probably the best way to get it out in the open. if not you may be playing these mind games with eachother until one gets bored and finds someone else, or you may be leading yourself on to something that doesn't even exist.
