Open chrome, click chrome, and then about google chrome, and take a screenshot. I have had it for a really long time. And I wasn't even one of the first people to use it.

cmd+shift+4+space+click FTW!

Chrome Beta has been on Mac for a while.

And Chromium (Google's open source version) was unofficially ported to Linux and Mac over a year ago.

WHO CARES??? THAT DOESN'T MATTER. IT WAS RELEASED AGES AGO OK? YOU ARE SO SLOW. YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT FOR NOT DOWNLOADING BEFORE IT WAS OFFICIALLY RELEASED TO THE PUBILC. IF YOU TRULY CARED ABOUT BROWSERS YOU WOULD NOT HAVE WAITED THIS LONG AND DOWNLOADED WITH THE REST OF "THE PUBLIC". GET UP ON YOUR BROWSER GAME, YOU MIGHT AS WELL BE USING INTERNET EXPLORER 6 CONSIDERING HOW FAR BEHIND YOU ARE. I WOULD ASK ABOUT THE ACTUAL BROWSER, HOW IT WORKS, WHAT'S BETTER, WHAT YOU LIKE, ECT, BUT I CAN'T GET OVER THE FACT YOU JUST GOT THIS TODAY, SO I WON'T EVEN BOTHER ASKING THAT. sorry melissa

but seriously now that you've been patronized by the elite for using this on the day of it's actual release, give me a review. what did you use before? i mainly use firefox. i don't really like safari for some reason, it just doesn't "feel" right to me. i might download this though and see what i think compared to the others.

i dislike that safari opens a new tab when you control or command enter to add the www. and .com to a link while firefox keeps it in the window you typed it in. i'll command t to open a new tab then type the address then it opens it in another new tab leaving the one i just opened blank. i opened that one for a reason not so i could have another open.

anyway, that's why i don't like safari. if i could change that, and if there's a way i'm probablay just too lazy to find it, i'd switch to safari

i mainly used firefox. i never liked safari, but now ppl are telling me its bc i never updated and the newer version has top sites and is way cool and whatnot, but meh, i don't like having to get used to new things.

chrome is nice. i like how you can just type a word into the address bar and it'll google it for you :D. i also like using the chrome top-sites thing instead of google for my homepage now. i don't really do anything on my computer that needs to be "incognito" but i like having the option to be incognito ph34r.gif . i like the bookmarks better. the design is also prettier than safari or firefox.

other than that, i really don't see much of a difference between this and firefox.

i'd get it though and check it out.

You can open a new tab and then...just hit Return instead of -Return to go to a URL. Or am I missing something?

Well if I haven't been to that website before will it automatically add the www. and the .com? For instance let's say for some reason I'd not been to google and my browser didn't recognize it. I could type that into an address bar and hit ctrl enter and that would auto add the www. and .com. In safari it does that, but in an additional tab.

In firefox, by default the address bar works like google "I'm Feeling Lucky" search. If you wan't it to just search google then go to about:config search for keyword.url, double click it and put in http://www.google.com.my/search?q=. That will make it just search google. I prefer it.

You can set that address to anything though.

Oh, I see what you mean. In Safari, you can Ctrl+Return to complete an address, and it won't open in a new tab (at least in my version of Safari, 4.0.4).

firefox does that too, Ctrl+Enter for .com, Shift+Enter for .net, Ctrl+Shift+Enter for .org.
