i will probably buy the new magic mouse though.

I would, but I can get the same hardware for cheaper. Mac OS will run on standard hardware.

I like the new magic mouse. The imac to me, isn't meant to be a power computer. so upgrading the hardware to a 3.06 mhz processor is a weak point to sell (to me). The 27" screen is getting closer to being the size of a tv!

Getting closer? My biggest normal TV is a 4:3 25 inch.

My biggest tv is a 4:3 52 inch. Still runs at VGA,

I haven't seen the new imac in person. How does it differ from the "old" (g6) imac?

I like the new magic mouse.

things sick.

trackpad and mouse mixed. i dont think its really for me though.

but sometimes i find useing my trackpad more useful then a mouse. i cant live without 3 finger scroll down.

They only work with the new imacs (right now) the reason just speculating here, guessing cause they don't even ship on their own yet.. they want people to buy the new imacs. A single (AA) battery. I think the mightymouse actually uses two.
