Why is it so damn hard for me to find a pair?! I've checked almost everywhere online that I can think of. I don't want Mary Poppins boots, I don't want granny boots, I don't want Doc Martens.

Bah. Any suggestions? I prefer mid calf, but I'm willing to buy knee-high.

^ You might be hardpressed to find some since it's about to be Spring/Summer, but here are a couple I found on ModCloth:

Click on the pictures for full deets.

And Urban Outfitters:

I'd also check Zappos, Piperlime, and Like, especially Like because you can do that nifty visual search.

Yeah, I never thought this would be such a pain in the ass!

I ended up going with these, from Hot Topic.

This can be closed now, if you'd like. Unless people want to gripe about the lack of availability there is for black lace up boots. haha

PS, thanks for checking, Carrie! :)

You're welcome! happy.gif

We can talk about how clothing seasons start too early. Spring doesn't start until late March, but they've been putting out Spring clothes since last month mad.gif

On top of that, I think that there are some clothing items that aren't season exclusive. A simple black cardigan, for example. I'm not talking about a heavy winter sweater. I'm talking about the little black sweater you have for those nights you stay out late. It's something to put over your shirt, blouse, whatever you may be wearing. I have a damned of a time finding those on 'off seasons.'

^ Seriously. I had that exact same problem a year ago -- H&M didn't even have any! -- and ended up going to the closet thrift shop and finding two.

I know! I don't get it. I've found that it's better for me to stock up. Seriously, I have so many black sweaters, it's ridiculous. I just know that I'll need one and there won't be one available because it's "spring." I mean, spring here can be like 40 degrees at times. =/

Whenever I go stores around here during fall and winter they still have bathing suits out, but no t-shirts. It doesn't make sense to me at all. Who wants to buy a bathing suit in November (unless you have a winter vacation coming up), but not a t-shirt?

^ I don't understand that, either, especially since I wear t-shirts year round.

^ If the bag is oversized, the right man can pull it off.

Edit:
http://jakandjil.com/blog/?p=1338

This guy is carrying the PS 1 oversized clutch by Proenza Schouler. Since the bag is really sort of heavy looking, it works out.
